Sec. 11-56. - Spark arresters.¶
Every incinerator shall be listed by a nationally recognized agency and shall be equipped and maintained with a spark arrester. The use of incinerators shall be approved by the Fontana Fire Protection District or his duly authorized deputy.

Sec. 11-57. - Maintenance.¶
Every incinerator, outside grill and barbecue pit and associated equipment shall be maintained in good condition, working order and repair at all times.

Sec. 11-58. - Fire hazards prohibited.¶
No person shall construct, erect, install, locate, equip, maintain or use any incinerator, outside grill or barbecue pit, or burn any combustible matter, so as to constitute a fire hazard by the use or burning thereof so as to endanger the life or property of any person thereby.

Sec. 11-59. - Definitions.¶
Barbecue pit as used in this chapter shall mean a trench or depression in the ground in which wood or other clean solid fuel is burned to produce a bed of hot coals for the sole purpose of cooking.
Open grill as used in this chapter shall mean a fixed, independent structure or device, constructed of steel, concrete, clay, or other non-combustible material, for the primary purpose of cooking food over a liquefied petroleum-, natural gas-, wood- or charcoal fueled fire. For the purposes of this article, open grill, outside grill, and/or open-flame cooking device shall mean the same thing.
