16.04.010 - Scope.

The provisions of this title shall be supplemental to those of the Subdivision Map Act of the state and shall apply to all subdivisions within the city.

16.04.020 - Advisory agency.

The commission is designated as the advisory agency referred to in the Subdivision Map Act of the state and is charged with the duty of making investigations and reports on the design and improvements of proposed subdivisions and is authorized to recommend to the city council that the council approve, conditionally approve, or disapprove tentative maps of subdivisions prepared and filed with the city according to the provisions of this title and the Subdivision Map Act. The city clerk is designated as clerk to the advisory agency with the authority to receive preliminary and tentative maps of subdivisions according to the Subdivision Map Act.

16.04.030 - Subdivision review board.

There is established a subdivision review board consisting of the director of public works, city engineer, city clerk (or their representatives), and such other members as may be prescribed by the city council. The subdivision review board shall have the powers and duties specified by this title and shall function in an advisory capacity to the planning commission and shall function in an advisory capacity to the planning commission and city council.
