§ 9.12.010 GLASS CONTAINERS IN PARKS AND BALLFIELDS.¶
It is unlawful for any person to possess, take into or discard any bottle or other glass container in the parks or ballfields of the town; provided that, no prohibition herein shall preclude any authorized person from possessing or taking into the canteen in the town park glass containers holding beverages to be offered for sale in small individual amounts and the removal thereof when empty.

§ 9.12.020 CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN PUBLIC PLACES.¶
It is unlawful for any person to drink any beer, wine or other alcoholic beverages or have in his or her possession or on his or her person any bottle, can or other receptacle containing any alcoholic beverage, which bottle, can or other receptacle has been opened or on which a seal has been broken, or the contents of which have been partially removed, on any public street, sidewalk, passageway, park, playground or parking lot, or in any private parking lot or passageway open to use by the public; provided that, the Chief of Police may give written authorization which will allow the drinking of alcoholic beverages at special events in any of the above described areas when adequate provision has been made for the policing of the events.

§ 9.12.030 VIOLATION; PENALTY.¶
(A) A violation of the provisions of this chapter is declared to be a public offense. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of an infraction and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500, except as provided in division (B) below.
(B) If any person is arrested or cited for a second or subsequent offense under this section within one year of a prior conviction, then the person violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment not exceeding six months, or by both the fine and imprisonment.
