§ 11-43. Appeal from requirements of notice.

(a) Within five days from the date of service of the required notice, the owner or agent of premises affected by such notice may appeal to the chief of the fire department who shall hear and consider all objections or protests to the proposed abatement.
(b) Upon conclusion of the hearing, the chief of the fire department shall allow or overrule any or all objections. The decision of the chief of the fire department may be appealed as set forth in section 11-20.
