Sec. 6.44.010. - Fees—Imposed.

Each person requesting a certification by the Agricultural Commissioner of the County, pursuant to the provisions of Article 4.5 (commencing with Food and Agricultural Code § 29111) of Chapter 1 of Division 13 of the Food and Agricultural Code, of the condition of any apiary which is to be transported to another state or country, shall pay to the Agricultural Commissioner of the County the fees established by this chapter. The fees shall be paid prior to the issuance of the certificate.

Sec. 6.44.020. - Fees—Designated.

The Agricultural Commissioner of the County shall charge the following fees for the inspections subject to this chapter:

A. For the time consumed by each County employee in making each inspection, including the time of travel to and from the inspection site, an amount to be set by resolution of the Board of Supervisors; and

B. For the travel to and from each inspection site, such mileage rate as may be established from time to time by the Board of Supervisors of the County for reimbursement of County employees for use of their vehicles on County business.
