Sec. 6.40.010. - Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Confinement means fencing at least six feet high with no more than eight inches of space between fence material elements, and shall be of such construction and strength as to prevent egress and ingress of stallions attracted to other animals and ingress of animals attracted to stallions.

Stallion includes all fertile male equines over one year of age.

Sec. 6.40.020. - Confinement.

Persons owning and/or controlling stallions shall provide confinement for said animals.

Sec. 6.40.030. - Penalty for violation.

Any person in violation of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to punishment according to the general penalties described in Chapter 1.24.
