El Dorado County Municipal Code Ch. 110.36 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings

The latest duly adopted Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings at the time of the proposed abatement, as published by the International Conference of Building Officials, are hereby adopted by reference for use in El Dorado County.

Article 6, Sections 48 and following, of Title 25 of the California Code of Regulations, and as may be amended from time to time in the future, are hereby adopted by reference for use in the County.

Persons and entities who are the subject of abatement actions pursuant to this chapter may appeal the proposed or summary abatement actions to the Nuisance Abatement Hearing Board, utilizing the appeal procedures found at Chapter 9.02.

Affected property owners of buildings subject to abatement pursuant to this chapter are liable for fines and subject to enforcement provisions set forth in Chapter 9.02.
