2.16.010 - Requirement.

Bonds shall be required of the city manager, any assistant or acting city manager, the director of finance and the treasurer. Pursuant to law, the council may require bonds of any other officer or employee of the city.

The council shall approve all bonds. When approved, the bonds shall be filed with the city clerk.

2.16.020 - Premium.

Whenever bonds are required of officers of the city, the premiums on such bonds shall be paid by the city.

2.16.030 - Amounts.

The amount of each official bond of the employees of the city shall be a reasonable amount recommended by the city attorney, each year, and fixed by resolution of the council.
