18.52.010 Purpose and applicability. ¶
The Public Agency (P-A) zoning district is intended to be applied to public lands that house schools, public and non-public utilities, government offices, and other public and quasi-public facilities consistent with the Public Agency land use designation.
18.52.020 Permitted uses. ¶
Subject to issuance of a building permit, business license, and/or other required permits, none but the following uses, or uses which in the opinion of the city council are similar, will be allowed as principally permitted uses in the P-A district:
A. Health clinics, medical offices, and laboratories.
B. Hospitals.
C. Parks, picnic areas, playgrounds.
D. Public and quasi-public facilities.
E. Public utilities.
F. Public schools.
G. Residential care facilities for the elderly.
18.52.030 Accessory uses. ¶
The following uses are permitted in the P-A district as an accessory to the primary permitted or conditionally permitted use:
A. Certified farmers’ markets.
B. Mobile food sales pursuant to Chapter 18.100 (Mobile Food Sales).
C. Signs pursuant to Chapter 18.72 (Signs).
D. Special events.
E. Usual and customary structures associated with a principally permitted use, including fences and walls pursuant to Section 18.84.130 (Fences, walls, hedges, and equivalent screening).
18.52.040 Conditional uses. ¶
The following uses are permitted in the P-A district upon approval and validation of a conditional use permit, in addition to any other permits or licenses required for the use:
A. Wastewater treatment facilities.
B. Other uses similar to those listed in this section.
18.52.050 Lot requirements. ¶
A. Minimum parcel size: None .
B. Minimum lot width: None .
C. Minimum lot depth: N one .
18.52.060 Development standards. ¶
A. Dwelling units per acre: None.
B. Maximum building height: All uses, except as specified herein: Seventy (70) feet.
C. Maximum lot coverage: One hundred (100) percent.
D. Minimum front yard setback.
Adjacent nonresidential district: None.
Adjacent residential or mixed-use district: Ten (10) feet.
E. Minimum rear yard setback.
Adjacent nonresidential district: None.
Adjacent residential or mixed-use district: Ten (10) feet.
F. Minimum side yard setback.
Adjacent nonresidential district: None.
Adjacent residential or mixed-use district: Fifteen (15) feet.
G. Minimum distance between buildings: As required by California Building Code.
H. Minimum parking: As specified in Chapter 18.68 (Off-Street Parking).
