9.19.010 - Consumption generally—Penalty.¶
A. It is unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic beverage on any public street, sidewalk, tot lot, public park, playground, gymnasium or recreational area.
B. This section shall not apply to public buildings upon any parklands, tot lots, playgrounds, gymnasiums or recreational areas where the use of alcoholic beverages in said area has been approved by the recreation commission of the city.
C. This section shall not apply to alcoholic beverages sold on the premises by a person or organization licensed by the Alcoholic Beverage Control for such sale and approved by the recreation commission of the city.

9.19.020 - Violation—Penalty.¶
Any person who commits any act declared by any provision of Section 9.19.010 to be unlawful, or who violates the provisions or fails to comply with the mandatory requirements of said section, shall be punishable as for an infraction. Every violation is punishable by:
A. A fine not exceeding fifty dollars for a first violation;
B. A fine not exceeding one hundred dollars for a second violation of the same section within one year;
C. A fine not exceeding two hundred fifty dollars for each additional violation of the same section within one year.
