§ 8-20. Modifications.

The city council reserves the right and power, at its own discretion or upon the recommendation of the building official, to modify any of the provisions of the electrical code when there are practical difficulties in carrying out the strict letter thereof; provided the spirit of the code shall be observed, public safety secured and substantial justice done.
