§ 25-36. Safety and public convenience.

All public and private improvements constructed in the City of Cypress shall be built, provided, and worked on in a safe manner. Workmen, pedestrians, and vehicular traffic shall be protected as required by the applicable regulations and provisions of the state, federal and city laws. No person, firm, corporation, partnership, association, contractor or subcontractor shall conduct his work or operations in any way which presents a clear and present danger or hazard to life or property, or which unreasonably interferes with the rights of the citizens of the city or the public. Any such person, firm, etc., found to be in violation of this section, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be cited in accordance with law. (Ord. No. 582, § 2, 9-13-76)
