§ 2.52.010. Office created.¶
The office of director of parks and recreation is created.

§ 2.52.020. Duties.¶
A. The director shall manage and supervise all areas of the municipality's parks and recreation facilities and programs, and aquatic facilities and related functions, as directed by the city manager.
B. The director, with the approval of the city manager, shall employ, train, instruct and supervise personnel to work for the department.
C. The director shall be responsible for all activities of the department.
D. The director shall prepare the annual budget for review by the city manager and subsequent approval by the city council.

§ 2.52.030. Compensation.¶
The director of parks and recreation shall receive such compensation and expense allowance as the city council shall from time to time determine and fix by resolution.
