Chapter 17.66 — HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINES

§ 17.66.010. Generally.

The highway right-of-way lines contained in this chapter refer to major and secondary highways and traffic collector streets shown on the general plan. (1964 Code Appx. A § 10.30)

§ 17.66.020. Required yards – Determination.

When yards are required abutting major and secondary highways and traffic collector streets, the yards shall be measured from the future highway right-of-way line established by the general plan for an existing right-of-way. Where yards are not required, the building shall be located on or to the rear of the future highway right-of-way line. (1964 Code Appx. A § 10.30)

§ 17.66.030. Establishment – Major highways.

The highway right-of-way line on each side of all major highways is established as 50 feet from the centerline (Total right-of-way width: 100 feet). (1964 Code Appx. A § 10.30)

§ 17.66.040. Establishment – Secondary highways.

The highway right-of-way lines on each side of all secondary highways is established as 40 feet from the centerline. (Total right-of-way width: 80 feet.) (1964 Code Appx. A § 10.30)
