9.07.010 - Applicability of chapter.

The rules and regulations prescribed in this chapter shall govern conduct on any public buses operating within the city.

9.07.020 - Prohibited conduct generally.

On any public bus, it is unlawful for any person or persons to do any of the acts hereinafter specified:

(1) To engage in any disorderly or boisterous conduct, or disturb the peace by assaulting, striking or fighting;

(2) To be found in an intoxicated or drunken condition;

(3) To make any disorder or tumult, to the disturbance of the public peace;

(4) To commit any act which shall endanger the safety or comfort of the bus, the bus driver, or any other passengers;

(5) To utter any bawdy, lewd or obscene words or epithets, or to address to another any words, language or expressions having a tendency to create a breach of the peace;

(6) To make any unnecessary noises or sounds which are physically annoying to other passengers of ordinary sensitivity or which are so harsh or so prolonged or unnatural or unusual in their use, time or place as to occasion physical discomfort to any other passengers on the bus;

(7) To smoke or possess any burning cigarette, cigar or pipe;

(8) To cause any physical damage to the bus or any accessory thereto;

(9) To fail to leave the bus when directed to do so by the bus driver or by any peace officer;

(10) To fail to obey the directions of the bus driver, or any peace officer, to cease and desist from any activities prohibited by this chapter.
