Sec. 8-7.01. - Adoption of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings.

That certain Code designated as the "Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings" 1997 Edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, as modified by the California Department of Housing and Community Development, one copy of each of which is on file in the Office of the Building Department, Department of Public Works, is adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter as though set forth in this chapter in full, subject, however, to the amendments, additions, and deletions set forth in this chapter, and said Code shall be known as the "Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code of the City of Coalinga" or "Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code".

Sec. 8-7.02. - Violations and penalties.

Any person violating any provisions of the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code or this chapter shall be deemed guilty of an infraction and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as set forth in Chapter 2 of Title 1 of the Coalinga Municipal Code.
