That edition of the 2025 California Electrical Code and published as the California Building Standards Code, found in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 3 by the California Building Standards Commission, one copy each of which are on file in the Office of the Building Official, Community Development Department, for public record and inspection, is adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter as though set forth in this Chapter in full, and said Codes shall be known as the "Electrical Code of the City of Coalinga" and the "Electrical Code." The Electrical Code as adopted herein shall be enforced by the Community Development Department of the City of Coalinga under the supervision of the Building Official, except as otherwise determined by the City Manager.

Any person violating any provisions of the Electrical Code or this chapter shall be deemed guilty of an infraction and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as set forth in Chapter 2 of Title 1 of the Coalinga Municipal Code.
