Coachella Municipal Code Art. IV Stickers

Where a license tax is determined by the number of vehicles, upon the issuance of a license the director of finance shall deliver to the licensee one sticker, emblem, device, sign or license facsimile for each vehicle used by the licensee in the conduct of his or her business. Such sticker, emblem, device, sign or license shall be prominently displayed within such vehicle.

Upon the issuance of a license, the director of finance shall deliver to the licensee one sticker for each coin or vending machine or pushcart approved by the city in the conduct of the licensee's business. Such sticker shall be attached in a conspicuous place on each approved machine and pushcart. This section shall not apply to coin and vending machines in cases where the license fee is based upon gross receipts.

Each such sticker shall have thereon the words "COACHELLA, CALIFORNIA," or any abbreviation thereof, the current year, and shall be in such form and color and contain such other information as the director of finance shall determine.

Additional stickers, emblems, devices, signs or license facsimiles may be issued by the director of finance for substitute or alternate vehicles if the licensee applies in writing to the director of finance, setting forth that such substitute or alternate vehicle will not be used in the city on days when the regular vehicle or vehicles will be used in the city.
