§ 9.28.010. Unlawful.

It is unlawful for any person, without lawful authority to deface, injure, tear down, alter the position of, or remove or interfere with, any official traffic sign or signal or device or guidepost or any traffic barrier or obstruction or warning notice placed or erected as authorized or required by law, in the city.

§ 9.28.020. Penalty for violation.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor. Upon conviction thereof, he shall be punishable as provided in Section 1.08.020.
