1.08.010 - Consolidation.

Pursuant to Section 71040, et seq., of the California Government Code and after a public hearing pursuant to notice according to law, the Angels-Murphys judicial district, the West Point judicial district, and the San Andreas judicial district are consolidated into one judicial district.

1.08.020 - Name.

The name of the consolidated judicial district shall be the Calaveras judicial district.

1.08.030 - Boundaries.

The boundaries of the Calaveras judicial district shall be the same as the boundaries of the county of Calaveras. The official map of the county shall be the map referred to in Section 71042.6 of the Government Code.

1.08.040 - Place of trial or hearings.

The place of trial or hearings in the judicial district shall be at the former San Andreas judicial district courtroom at the government center in San Andreas, provided, however, the place of trial or hearings may be in the city of Angels if the proper amount of funds are provided by the board of supervisors to purchase space for such and the judge orders such trial or hearings to be held in said city.
