2214.1 General.

The design, fabrication and erection including related connections, and protective coatings of steel cables for buildings shall be in accordance with ASCE 19.

[OSHPD 1R, 2 & 5] Steel cables with glass or polymer fabric material acting as a tensile membrane structure shall be considered as an alternative system.
