13.20.010 - Authority.¶
Pursuant to the authority granted in Section 5471 of the Health and Safety Code of the state, and within the discretion of the city council, sewer services may be provided for contiguous land outside the boundaries of the city and eligible for annexation to the city.

13.20.020 - Charges.¶
Charges imposed for the providing of sewer services pursuant to this chapter shall be set by resolution of the city council.

13.20.030 - Agreement with city.¶
Before sewer service is provided and any tie-in to the sewer system of the city is made by any person who is an owner of land outside the boundaries of the city, such owner shall first sign, execute and deliver an agreement in the manner and form to be provided by the city council, setting forth the agreements and conditions under which the city will provide sewer service to such owner during the temporary period of time when annexation proceedings of the land involved are in progress. At such time as the land involved located outside the city has become finally annexed to the city, and is listed on the equalized assessment roll as real property subject to taxation by the city, then said agreement shall terminate and the land so annexed shall be treated the same as all other land within the city.

13.20.040 - Inspection and approval.¶
All sewer construction and installation, later to be connected to the sewer system of the city, shall be subject to the inspection of the city inspector during any such construction and installation, and shall meet the standards as set forth in the ordinances of the city in force at the time of such construction and installation. No connection and tie-in shall be made to the sewer system of the city without the approval of the city inspector being first had and obtained.
