1.08.010. - Designated.¶
The city has adopted, as the seal of the city, a seal consisting of a circular disc 1⅞ inches in diameter with a design cut thereon showing a border consisting of two concentric braid circles. Within the inner circle there shall be a pictorial representation of a lake in the foreground against a background of trees and snowcapped mountains, and, superimposed over the center of the lake there shall be a ribbon on which there shall appear the words "Incorporated 1903." Also, within the two concentric circles which form the border of the seal, there shall appear at the top the words "City of Bishop," and at the bottom the words "Inyo County" over the top of the word "California." The official colors of such seal may be determined by resolution of the council. The unauthorized use of the city seal is prohibited.
