3-2-101: REQUIRED SIGNATURES:¶
The signature of the director of finance administration, or such other officers or employees of the city as the council may designate by resolution, shall be required upon all checks, drafts, and warrants issued for and in behalf of the city. In addition to the signature of the director of finance administration, the signature of the city treasurer, or a deputy appointed by the city treasurer, shall be required, except that the signature of the city treasurer shall not be required on any check, draft, or warrant which does not exceed an amount established by resolution of the council. 3-2-102: FACSIMILE SIGNATURES:¶
The director of finance administration, and any other officer and employee of the city designated by resolution of the council, with the exception of the city treasurer and any deputy appointed by the treasurer, shall be authorized to use a facsimile signature in lieu of a personal signature on those checks, drafts, and warrants issued for and in behalf of the city; provided, however, such authorization shall be applicable only to those checks, drafts, and warrants as are specified by resolution of the council and in the amounts set forth in such resolution.
