1-7-1: PROCEDURE:

All elections held in the city shall be held in accordance with the general election laws of the state so far as the same may be made applicable. (1962 Code § 2-5.01)

1-7-2: FILING FEE FOR CANDIDATES:

A filing fee as established by council resolution shall be payable for candidates' nomination papers for elective officers at municipal elections held in the city. The filing fee shall be paid to the city clerk by each candidate for elective office at the time the candidate's nomination paper is filed with the city clerk. (1962 Code § 2-5.02)

1-7-3: POLLING PLACES; COMPENSATION:

Each person furnishing a polling place for use in a municipal election in the city shall be paid a sum equal to that paid for the furnishing of an election polling place in the county. (1962 Code § 2-5.03)
