Sec. 8.5-10. - Campaign contribution limits.

(a) An individual may not make, and a candidate may not receive from any individual, any contribution to the campaign of any individual candidate for any city elective public office in excess of $500.00 in any calendar year.

(b) An organization may not make, and a candidate may not receive from any organization, any contribution to the campaign of any individual candidate for any city elective office in excess of $500.00 in any calendar year.

Sec. 8.5-11. - Contributions under assumed name.

A person may not make a contribution for any other person under an assumed name or under the name of any other person.

Sec. 8.5-12. - Contributions from unknown sources.

(a) A person may not accumulate contributions from unknown sources in excess of $250.00 combined total value in any calendar year.

(b) A person must surrender to the city for deposit in the general fund that portion of contributions from unknown sources that exceeds the maximum amount in subsection (a).
