Chapter 5.56 — VEHICLE SALES

Any person in the business of selling vehicles who displays or stores any vehicle for sale on any public street, alley, parking lot, sidewalk, right-of-way or other public property is guilty of a violation punishable in accordance with Chapter 1.08 of this Code. A person shall not be deemed to be engaged in the business of selling vehicles, who disposes of any vehicle acquired and used in good faith for their own personal use or for use in their business, and not for the purpose of avoiding the provisions of this Code.
