9.20.010 - Damaging public street or sidewalk prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, their agents or employees, to dig holes or ditches in or otherwise destroy or deface any street, alley, lane, curb, gutter or sidewalk belonging to the City. But this shall not be construed to apply to any person, firm or corporation exercising their right or pursuing their work pursuant to any franchise or right granted by the City to erect poles, string wires or lay pipes over and upon the streets, avenues, alleys and lanes of the City.
