Sec. 8.14.010. - Issuance of cat identification.¶
If a cat owner or person having custody or control of the cat requests that a cat identification microchip be implanted into a cat, upon payment of a fee which shall be set by resolution of the city council, the humane officer shall cause the implantation of the microchip into the cat.

Sec. 8.14.020. - Record maintenance.¶
The humane officer shall keep a record of the name and address of the person for whom this service was provided, the date the chip was implanted, and a description of the cat in which the chip was implanted.

Sec. 8.14.030. - Removal of cat identification.¶
Except as authorized by the cat owner or applicable law, no person shall remove from any cat any collar, harness, or other device to which is attached an identification tag, or remove such tag therefrom, nor remove any implanted cat identification microchip.
