9.50.010 Permit required.¶
No person shall fire or discharge any gun, rifle, pistol or firearm of any kind within the city limits of the city, without a permit as provided for in this chapter. (Prior code § 10.16.010)
9.50.020 Rules and regulations under which permit granted.¶
The chief of police shall establish rules and regulations approved by the city council establishing the conditions under which a permit to discharge a gun will be granted. (Prior code § 10.16.020)
9.50.030 Use of firearms in discharge of lawful duty.¶
This chapter shall not be construed to prohibit the use of firearms by a peace officer or other authorized person in the discharge of his or her lawful duties. (Prior code § 10.16.030)
