8.12.010 - Purpose.

The City Council has found that it is in the best interest of public health, safety and welfare that, during the annual 4th of July celebration, the vending of merchandise be undertaken only by those designated in the following section.

8.12.020 - Designated vendors.

Only those nonprofit organizations designated by the City 4th of July Committee shall be permitted to offer for sale, sell, vend or distribute merchandise within one block of the 4th of July celebration parade route for a period of three hours beginning before the commencement of the annual parade until one hour after the termination of the parade; and only the designated nonprofit organizations shall be permitted to offer for sale, sell, vend or distribute merchandise during the 4th of July celebration in or about or within a radius of one square block of Ralston Park, or such other public areas which may be selected by the City Council for the purpose of holding the celebration.
