2.07.010 - Commission appointments.¶
All Council appointed members of all City Commissions shall be qualified electors residing within the corporate limits of the City of Atwater and establish policies, procedures, and/or regulations governing the process for selecting members of City Commissions. The City Council may, by resolution, waive the elector requirement for the General Plan Technical Advisory Committee.
Any Commission member who changes his/her place of residence to a place outside the City of Atwater and/or who is no longer a qualified elector of the City shall automatically be deemed to have resigned.

2.07.020 - Appointment of Chief of Police.¶
The City Council shall have the authority to appoint and remove the Chief of Police. This Section 2.07.020 shall remain in effect until the date that the positions of City Manager and Chief of Police are no longer occupied by the same individual.
