10.56.010 - Crosswalks to be established.

A. The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to establish and maintain crosswalks and to designate them by appropriate devices or painted signs upon the surface of the roadway.

B. The City Traffic Engineer may place signs at or adjacent to an intersection in respect to any crosswalk directing that pedestrians shall not cross in the crosswalk so indicated.

10.56.020 - Use of crosswalks required when.

No pedestrian shall cross a roadway other than by a crosswalk in any business district and on any other roadway in the City which now is or may hereinafter be incorporated into the City's select street system.

10.56.030 - Crossing at right angles.

No pedestrian shall cross a roadway at any place other than by a route at right angles to the curb or by the shortest route to the opposite curb except in a marked crosswalk.
