§ 5-5.01. Public Places and Vehicles.

It is unlawful for any intoxicated person or any person in an intoxicated condition willfully to appear, remain, or be in or on any public highway, street, alley, way, park, playground, or public place in the City, whether such person is or is not in or upon any automobile, street, inter-urban car, vehicle or conveyance.

§ 5-5.02. Public Premises.

An intoxicated person or a person in an intoxicated condition shall not willfully appear, remain, or be in or on any place open to public view or in any store, railroad depot, stadium, or other place to which the public is admitted or invited.

§ 5-5.03. Private Premises.

An intoxicated person or a person in an intoxicated condition shall not wilfully appear, remain, or be in or on any private premises or in any private house to the annoyance of any other person.

§ 5-5.04. Drinking in Public.

Every person who consumes any beer, wine or other intoxicating beverage on any public street, side-walk, alley, highway or parking lot open to the public is guilty of a misdemeanor. This section shall not be deemed to proscribe any act which is positively permitted or prohibited by any law of the State of California.

§ 5-5.05. Consuming Alcoholic Beverages at Schools and Athletic Events.

Every person who enters, goes onto or remains on the premises of any public school in the City or any stadium, auditorium or athletic field while being used by any public school for any athletic contest, while such person is consuming alcoholic beverages, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
