Chapter 5.28 — CARD ROOMS

5.28.010 - Card room defined.¶
For the purposes of this chapter, "card room" means a business house, house, room, apartment or place in which the playing of cards for money, checks, chips, credit, or other representatives of value is conducted or carried on.

5.28.020 - Prohibited.¶
No person shall keep, conduct or maintain a card room or knowingly permit any building, room or place owned by him or her or under his or her charge or control to be used as a card room.

5.28.030 - Exceptions.¶
The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the carrying on of card games in private homes for purely social purposes.
