§ 12.20.010. Application of park rules.¶
The rules set forth in this chapter shall apply to all parks managed or owned by Amador County, including Fiddletown Park, Lions Park, Mollie Joyce Park, Pine Grove Park, and Pioneer Park.

§ 12.20.015. Hours of operation.¶
Hours of operation for all parks shall be from dawn to dusk. Use of the parks outside the hours of operation without a permit or other authorization from the County shall constitute trespassing and is prohibited.

§ 12.20.020. Alcohol use.¶
Alcohol use is prohibited in all parks. Alcohol use may be permitted for certain events with a park use permit.

§ 12.20.025. Food sales.¶
Food sales are prohibited in all parks. Food sales may be permitted for certain events with a park use permit.

§ 12.20.030. Campfires.¶
Campfires and fires of any kind are strictly prohibited without express written permission from the County.

§ 12.20.035. Amplified sound.¶
Amplified sound at 80dB or higher for extended periods of time is prohibited in all parks. Amplified sound may be permitted for certain events with a park use permit.

§ 12.20.040. Pets.¶
Pets are allowed in the parks, but they must be leashed and controlled at all times. Dogs may be unleashed in designated dog parks; however, if a dog is prone to violent aggression, the owner must keep the dog leashed, muzzled, and under control within the dog park. Horses are prohibited without express authorization from the County.

§ 12.20.045. Littering.¶
Littering within the parks is prohibited. Affixing flyers to trees, fences, posts, or other structures is prohibited.

§ 12.20.050. Solicitation of funds.¶
Solicitation of funds including the sale of goods and services is prohibited in the park without express written authorization from the County.

§ 12.20.055. Parking.¶
Parking outside of designated parking lots is prohibited. Overnight parking without the express written authorization of the County is prohibited.

§ 12.20.060. Large events.¶
Events with 100 people or more are prohibited without a park use permit.

§ 12.20.065. Exclusive use.¶
Use of amenities within a park is on a first-come, first-served basis. However, if others are waiting to use the amenity, then exclusive use for over two hours is prohibited without a park use permit.

§ 12.20.070. Marijuana use.¶
Marijuana use of any kind is prohibited everywhere within all the parks.

§ 12.20.075. Tobacco use.¶
Tobacco use of any kind is prohibited within park buildings.

§ 12.20.080. Motorized vehicles.¶
Use of motorized vehicles outside the parking areas and other designated public roadways is prohibited without a permit or express written authorization of the County. The speed limit for motorized vehicles within these areas is 10 miles per hour.

§ 12.20.085. Climbing and cutting.¶
Climbing trees and fences is prohibited. Cutting wood is prohibited.

§ 12.20.090. Violations of park rules are misdemeanors.¶
Any person violating the above provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, that person shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment not to exceed six months, or both.

§ 12.20.095. Fees, permitting, and administration.¶
General Services Administration (GSA) Department shall manage the parks and charge and collect fees established by the Board of Supervisors for the use of the parks. The GSA Department shall maintain rules and procedures for administrative matters including the processing of permits. Those rules and procedures shall be posted on the County's website.
