22-22.1 - Drainage or Discharge of Water Over Sidewalk Area Forbidden.¶
No person owning or having the control of any premises shall permit any drainage or discharge of water from any leader or conductor pipes over the sidewalk area within the limits of the City.

22-22.2 - Disposal of Drainage Water.¶
All drainage water shall be disposed of as follows, to-wit:
a. Where the gutter is four (4″) inches or more below the official grade of the sidewalk at the curb line, the water from the leader or conductor pipe shall be carried under the sidewalk through a channel whose area of cross section is equal to that of the leader or conductor pipe, the top of the channel to be covered with at least two (2″) inches of concrete, the covering to conform with the existing surface of sidewalk.
b. Where the gutter is less than four (4″) inches below the official grade of the sidewalk at the curb line, the water from the leader or conductor pipe shall be carried under the sidewalk through a channel whose area of cross section is equal to that of the leader or conductor pipe, the said channel to be covered by a cast iron plate of at least one-quarter (¼″) inch in thickness and of such width as to extend at least one (1″) inch beyond each side of the channel, the covering to conform with the existing surface of the sidewalk.

22-22.3 - Approval of Material and Workmanship.¶
All material and workmanship is subject to the approval of the Superintendent of Streets.
