2900. - Compensation.

Each member of the city council shall receive as salary the sum of eight hundred and fifty dollars ($850.00) per month as set forth in California Government Code Section 36516. Such salaries shall be payable at the same time and in the same manner as salaries are paid to other officers and employees of the city.
