§ 18.02

The purpose of this chapter is to amend Los Angeles County Ordinance 4478, as adopted in Chapter 18.01, in order to adjust its provisions to the needs of the city and to eliminate those provisions that do not apply to the city.

Section 6.1 of Los Angeles County Ordinance 4478 is amended to read as follow:

"Section 6.1 APPEALS. (a) A subdivider dissatisfied with any action taken by the Planning Commission, when functioning as the advisory agency, with respect to tentative map or parcel map, may appeal to the City Council.

"(b)

Any interested person may appeal any decision of the advisory agency relative to its assigned duties to the City Council.

"(c)

All appeals shall be submitted and acted upon in the manner prescribed by Section 66452.5 of the Government Code."

18.02.050 - Section 88 amended—Fees.

Section 88 of Los Angeles County Ordinance 4478 is amended to read as follows:

"Section 88. FEES. Where a tentative map is submitted to the City for Planning Commission consideration, the subdivider shall reimburse the City for costs incidental to engineering review and reports on the tentative map. Such costs shall be paid prior to Commission consideration of the map."

18.02.060 - Section 136 amended—Tract map checking fees.

Section 136 of Los Angeles County Ordinance 4478 is amended to read as follows:

"Section 136. TRACT MAP CHECKING FEES. Following Commission approval of the tentative map, the final map shall be submitted to the City Engineer for checking. The subdivider shall pay a map checking fee of two hundred dollars per map plus five dollars per lot, payable at the time the map is submitted for checking. An additional fee of five dollars per lot will be charged for each lot that is revised after having been checked.

"Where a lot is required by the provisions of Section 73, such lot shall be omitted in calculating the amount of the map checking fee."

18.02.070 - Section 136.1 amended—Parcel map checking fee.

Section 136.1 of Los Angeles County Ordinance 4478 is amended to read as follows:

"Section 136.1. PARCEL MAP CHECKING FEES. Following Commission approval of the tentative map, the final parcel map shall be submitted to the City Engineer for checking. The subdivider shall pay a map checking fee of two hundred dollars per map plus five dollars per lot, payable at the time the map is submitted for checking.
