Applies: Applies when the application meets the approved checklist and standards and has no specific, adverse impact on public health or safety. § 15.48.060 · code text Where the application meets the requirements of the approved checklist and standards and there are no specific, adverse impacts upon public health or safety, the Building and Safety Division shall complete the building permit approval process, which is nondiscretionary.
Solar permit process	Applications may be filed electronically with the required fees; electronic signatures are accepted. Applies: Applies to small rooftop home solar systems. § 15.46.060 · code text The applicant may submit the application and related documentation for a small residential rooftop solar energy system by electronic submittal, with all required permit processing and inspection fees, as specified on the City website. Approved administratively as a nondiscretionary permit when a complete application meets the checklists and standard plans and fees are paid. Applies: Applies to small rooftop home solar systems. § 15.46.060 · code text Applications for small residential rooftop solar energy systems shall be administratively reviewed and approved by the Building Official as nondiscretionary permits within in a reasonable time, not to exceed 30 days, following receipt of a complete application that meets the requirements of the County's approved checklists, standards plans, and payment of all required permit processing and inspection fees.
