Social security and Medicare taxes for 2026. The employee and employer tax rates for social security and the maximum amount of wages subject to social security tax for 2026 will be discussed in Pub. 15 (for use in 2026).

The Medicare tax rate for 2026 will also be discussed in Pub. 15 (for use in 2026). There’s no limit on the amount of wages subject to Medicare tax.
