Section 7702.—Life insurance contract defined.

Safe harbor for purposes of applying computational rules of § 7702(e) for life insurance contracts that (1) have mortality guarantees based upon prevailing commissioners’ standard tables that extend beyond age 100 and (2) may continue in force after the day on which the insured individual attains age 100. See Rev. Proc. 2018–20, page 427.

Section 7702A.—Modified endowment contract defined.
