4.40.010. - Authority.¶
California Health and Safety Code § 33100 provides for the existence of Redevelopment Agencies.

4.40.020. - Declaration of need.¶
Pursuant to California Health and Safety Code § 33101, the Yuba County Board of Supervisors declares that there is a need for a Redevelopment Agency to function in the County by reason of the existence in the County of certain of the statutory criteria set forth in Health and Safety Code Div. 14, Pt. 1, Ch. 2 (Health and Safety Code § 33100 et seq.).

4.40.030. - Direction to file copy of Chapter.¶
The Clerk of the Board is directed to forward a certified copy of this Chapter to the Secretary of the State of California for filing.

4.40.040. - Findings and appointment of agency.¶
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Yuba find that it will serve the public interest and promote the public safety and welfare in an effective manner if the Board of Supervisors of Yuba County is declared to be the Redevelopment Agency. Based upon these findings the Yuba County Board of Supervisors declares itself to be the Redevelopment Agency.
