3.40.010 - Declaration of need.¶
The city council finds and declares that there is a need in the city for an industrial development authority to accomplish such public purposes and to exercise such powers as are set forth in the California Industrial Development Financing Act, commencing with Section 91500 of the Government Code of the state.

3.40.020 - Establishment of industrial development authority.¶
Pursuant to the California Industrial Development Financing Act, the city council establishes an industrial development authority to function in the city, to be known as the industrial development authority. (Ord, 615 (part), 1986).
3.40.030 - Authorization to act.¶
The industrial development authority is authorized to function in the city to accomplish the purposes provided for in California Industrial Development Financing Act and to exercise any powers permitted by said act.
