§ 18.16.300. Purpose. ¶
The PL presidential library zone is included in the zoning regulations to provide identification of an area of regional, national and international cultural and historical significance, and to provide for the development, enhancement and expansion of the birthplace, library and archive of President Richard M. Nixon.

§ 18.16.310. Permitted and conditional uses. ¶
Table 18.16-4 contains a listing of permitted uses and accessory uses within the PL zone. Uses in the Table are permitted subject to the permit criteria referenced. Any use not included shall be considered prohibited. In addition to the uses listed in Table 18.16-4, the burial site of former presidents and their immediate family members shall be deemed a permitted use.

§ 18.16.320. Property development standards. ¶
- A. The standards in Table 18.16-5 shall apply to development within the PL zone:

B. Signs. No sign or outdoor advertising structures shall be permitted except as prescribed in Chapter 18.24 , or as otherwise approved by the Planning Commission in conjunction with a conditional use permit or design review.
C. Walls and Fences. Wall and fences may be permitted to any height by the Zoning Administrator per Chapter 18.38 , or by the Planning Commission in conjunction with a conditional use permit or design review, provided, however, all fences and walls in excess of three feet in height within any required setback area shall first be reviewed and approved by the City Traffic Engineer for line-ofsight clearances.
