Sec. 5-17.101. Title.¶
This chapter shall be known and cited and referred to as the “Taxicab Law of the County of Yolo.” (§ 1, Ord. 893, eff. November 1, 1980)
Sec. 5-17.102. Authority.¶
This chapter is enacted pursuant to the provisions of Section 7 of Article 11 of the Constitution of the State and Chapter 5 of Division 7 of the Vehicle Code of the State (commencing with Section 16500). (§ 1, Ord. 893, eff. November 1, 1980)
Sec. 5-17.103. Effect on other laws.¶
The provisions of this chapter are not the exclusive regulation of taxicabs within the unincorporated area of the County. The provisions of this chapter shall supplement and be in addition to the regulatory Codes, statutes, and laws heretofore or hereafter enacted by the County, the State, or any other legal entity or agency having jurisdiction.
