Sec. 4-3.201. Authority.¶
Pursuant to the authority provided by Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State, it is hereby determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that the speed limit of sixty-five (65) miles per hour is more than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist upon the streets and parts of streets of the County set forth in this article, and it is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as set forth in this article on such streets and parts of streets. Such declared prima facie limit shall be effective when appropriate signs giving notice thereof are erected upon such streets. Sec. 4-3.202. Twenty-five miles per hour.¶
The prima facie speed limit on the following streets and parts of streets in the County is hereby declared to be twenty-five (25) miles per hour:

The prima facie speed limit on the following streets and parts of streets in the County is hereby declared to be thirty (30) miles per hour:

(b) County Road 96 between County Road 29 and County Road 31;

(e) County Road 96 between State Highway 16 and County Road 20;
(f) County Road 24 between County Road 95 and a point eight-tenths (0.8) mile west of County Road 94B (Added by § 2, Ord. 1413, eff. December 8, 2011);

Sec. 4-3.205.1. Fifty-five miles per hour.¶
The prima facie speed limit on the following streets and parts of streets in the County is hereby declared to be fifty-five (55) miles per hour:
(a) County Road 32 between County Road 98 and County Road 95;
(b) County Road 99W from 1,000 feet north of County Road 8 to 3,000 feet north of County Road 8. (Added by § 2, Ord. 1433, eff. September 5, 2013);
(c) County Road 99W from 800 feet south of County Road 8 to 600 feet north of County Road 9. (Added by § 2, Ord. 1433, eff. September 5, 2013).
Sec. 4-3.206. Violations.¶
Any violation of the provisions of this article shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as follows:
(a) For a first conviction, by a fine not exceeding Fifty and no/100ths ($50.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment;
(b) For a second conviction within a period of twelve (12) months, by a fine not exceeding One Hundred and no/100ths ($100.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a term not exceeding ten (10) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment; and
(c) For a third or any subsequent conviction within a period of twelve (12) months, by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred and no/100ths ($500.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a term not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
