3.16.010 - County ordinance adopted by reference.

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, Article 4 of Chapter 3 of Part I of the Ordinance Code of Tulare County, as adopted by Tulare County Ordinance No. 971, is referred to, adopted as a city ordinance, and made a part of this chapter with the same effect as if fully set forth herein, and all the provisions thereof shall be applicable within the city.

3.16.020 - Definitions.

Whenever any of the following terms are used in Article 4 of Chapter 3 of Part I of the Ordinance Code of Tulare County, such terms shall have the following meanings:

"Board of supervisors" means the city council of the city of Woodlake.

"Clerk of the board of supervisors" means the city clerk of the city of Woodlake.

"County of Tulare" or "county" means the city of Woodlake, or the incorporated territory of the city of Woodlake, as the text may require.

"Tax collector" means the tax collector of the county of Tulare (or city of Woodlake).

"Unincorporated area of Tulare County" means the incorporated territory of the city of Woodlake.

3.16.030 - Violation—Penalty.

A violation of this chapter is not punishable as an infraction or misdemeanor, a violation of this chapter is punishable only by an administrative fine. Any person who violates any provisions of any ordinance enacted by the city, as amended from time to time, or any person who owns property upon which a violation exists, irrespective of whether that person caused the violation, shall be subject to an administrative fine or penalty up to the maximum amounts set forth by Woodlake Municipal Code Chapter 1.12.070.

Persons cited for violating this chapter may request an administrative appeal hearing as permitted by Woodlake Municipal Code Chapter 1.12.110.
