12.20.010 - City park defined.

The "city park" is that parcel of property bordered by Naranjo Boulevard, Magnolia Street, Antelope Avenue and Olive Lane, and operated by the city as a park.

12.20.020 - Loitering.

A. Except as provided in subsection B of this section, it is unlawful for any person to loiter in or about, or be present in any portion of the city park hereinabove defined, at any time between sunset and sunrise, from November 1st to April 30th in any year, or between ten p.m. and five a.m. from May 1st to October 31st in any year.

B. The provisions of this section shall not apply to any employee of the city, or any other agency of the federal, state or county government, while in the performance of his or her duties, and shall not apply to any person in attendance at or traveling to and from any lawful activity at the Rotary Club Building, also known as Boy Scout Building, located in the city park.

C. Every person who shall violate any of the provisions of this section is guilty of an infraction. Upon conviction thereof he shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00).

12.20.030 - Alcoholic beverages.

A. It is unlawful for any person to serve or consume an alcoholic beverage in the city park (except pursuant to subsection B of this section) and it is unlawful for a person to possess an open container of alcoholic beverage in the city park (except pursuant to subsection B of this section).

B. A permit for the use of the city park may be issued which would allow the serving, possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the city park, and the application for such a permit shall be made in writing to the Woodlake police department at least five days prior to the proposed use. Such permits shall be issued only to organized, nonprofit groups, associations or organizations for organized functions related to the activities of such groups, associations or organizations. Such permit shall be limited as to time and date, and no such permit shall be issued for more than two consecutive days. Each group, organization or association shall be limited to two such permits during any one calendar year.

C. Every person, association or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this section is guilty of an infraction. Upon conviction thereof, he shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00). Each separate day or any portion thereof during which any violation of this section occurs or continues constitutes a separate offense, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable as herein provided.
