9.40.010 - Loitering—Prohibited.

A person shall not loiter, sit, or stand in or upon any public highway, alley, sidewalk, entrance to any public building, crosswalk, or any other public way open for pedestrian or vehicle travel or otherwise occupy any portion thereof in such a manner as to unreasonably annoy or molest any pedestrian thereon or as to obstruct or unreasonably interfere with the free passage of pedestrians or vehicles.

9.40.020 - Playing ball in streets—Prohibited.

It is unlawful for any persons to engage in any game of ball or to bat, toss, throw or in any manner pass any ball from one person to another, upon the public streets and alleys of the city.

9.40.030 - Playing ball in streets—Penalty.

Every person or persons who violates the provisions of Section 9.04.020 is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars and not exceeding forty-nine dollars or by imprisonment in the city jail at the rate of one day for each dollar of the fine or by both such fine and imprisonment.
